Recent Wyndham Review: "After reading a lot of the reviews of this hotel I was a little wary of booking it. I did regardless because of the location and the great rate on nice hotel. It seems to me that Wyndham has repaired many of the old issues since we encountered none of the problems that other guests did. Our towel rack was brand new as was the dust ruffle on the bed. We requested a non-smoking room and it didn't smell bad. Our room was quiet, had great air condidtioning, we parked easily right out front and nothing was stolen from our room. Mike at the front desk was very friednly and made check-in fast and asked for our location preference on the property. We chose a second floor room in Bld 13 with a little balcony overlooking a small lagoon. The bathroom was stocked with True Spa Bath and Body Works lotions, shampoo, etc. There was Wolfgang Puck coffee as well. It seems to me that people want a 5 star hotel for nothing. We all want the nicest hotel we can get for the lowest amount of money- this hotel was fine and inexpensive. The room we had exceeded the price we paid. If there are problems outside of building 13, we did not experience them."

If you're spending time on International Drive in Orlando but also visiting Disney and Universal, this resort is perfectly located. Easy in and out of International Drive, which can get jammed, and all the best around it.

Our room smelled like chemicals and it was in need of an update, especially the bathroom. However, we didn't spend much time in the room. The pool was great, nice pool bar, centrally located.

If you want to save money and don't care at all for comfort, this is your choice. However if besides hitting the parks all day, also care for comfort, don't come here. It's old, it's dirty and it's almost a half hour away from the parks. It doesn't have free Internet, anywhere but the lobby, and it doesn't have wifi access in the rooms, you have to bring your laptop and cable. It doesn't offer breakfast (as disclaimed) but it lacks to offer mini fridge, microwave or coffee maker. Bad choice for me, I like to save but also rather to save a little extra bucks to have certain features. Our room had a broken security latch, a leaking shower, a "dancing" toilet seat and a stained door, as if someone had kicked it before. This is a good choice, only f your budget is very very limited.

The rooms were decent for the price although the bathroom was smaller and older than I expected, (needs remodeling). Good location, close to major attactions and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

hey charged me an extra $7 PER DAY for resort fees. They also have no wifi in the rooms and you have to pay and extra $10 per night for internet. The bathroom had rusty towel racks.

Although the accommodations were suitable, the bathroom floor was not thoroughly clean and drawers in the Armoire did not completely open. Also, upon check in/check out we found that there was not sufficient staff to handle the number of guests in line and certainly not enough parking spaces available for check in/checkout guests. Perhaps the hotel needs to expand the number of 15 minute parking spaces around the check in area for these purposes. Also, instead of the hotel services being just in the book provided in the hotel room, how about listing the trails also on the property map that is given with the hotel keys.

No complaints about the hotel or the service. Great location, smack in the middle of a great shopping and restaurant area. Only complaints about the room is that the air conditioner was right next to the bed and we had to create a comforter/sheet/pillow barrier between myself and the AC. Other than this, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
