Recent Wingate Wyndham Universal Studios Review: "Very nice, clean hotel. 100% non smoking a big plus. Our room was nice sized (King bed & queen sofa, w/free wifi, micro and fridge) and the bed was very comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary hot breakfast was fantastic. It was too chilly for the outdoor pool but we thoroughly enjoyed the indoor hot tub. It is conveniently located near  several restaurants and a drug store w/groceries. Orlando Ale House was a great nearby find. The hotel is close to Universal and you could walk there, but it would be a pretty good walk--maybe 1 1/2 milesr When you're going to be on your feet all day at Universal, might not be worth it. They have a shuttle w/other hotels but only one pick up and drop off a day. It is definitely worth it to save the big $$ on parking at Universal. If you want to go back and do City Walk after hours, parking is much cheaper, and free after 10pm. We were very glad we chose this hotel and would stay there again. When there are so many hotels in Orlando to choose from, we feel we got lucky and chose a good one!"
