Recent Waldorf Astoria Orlando Review: "The Waldorf Astoria Orlando hotel was an amazing place to spend our honeymoon at. It is located by Downtown Disney (5min by car) and nearby the other parks- it is still a good 15 min to Universal studios/Seaworld (abt 9 miles), but if you have your own car it's not that bad - esp if you'd like to spend more time at the Disney parks - The service at this hotel is just top notch and for those looking for a less noisy environment (almost kid-free) this is the place for you! The Peacock Lounge was a delight to have small plates and high tea during the afternoon. The $20 valet/day was an extra cost but just made the stay more luxurious especially during hot Orlando days - but keep in mind if you decide to go to Disney parks/Universal studios by car you should add on an extra $14/day for their parking as well - good thing this hotel has shuttle service to the Disney Parks at least. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool but it was pretty big and looked inviting. The hotel room itself was very comfortable - you definitelly will miss the bed when you check out and the bathroom was just very spacious with a walk-in bath and a bathtub. We enjoyed room service - the in house food was gourmet but keep in mind that with each delivery they automatically charge $3 and 18% gratuity - making a simple breakfast order of a bagel and cream cheese into the double digits - We spent a lot of time therefore eating on International Drive - but all in all if you are looking for a luxurious stay - the Waldorf Astoria Orlando Hotel will give you much bang for your buck!"
