Recent Rosen Shingle Creek Review: "Let me begin by telling you that most of the reviews you have read besides mine is very true. This resort is magnificent! Beautiful rooms and outstanding staff eager to assist you immediately. The Rosen ranks right up with there with Gaylord Palms (My personal favorite) and Animal Kingdom Lodge. I received a very special rate for this particular weekend and I must say this resort exceeded my expectations. There are 3 pools, 2 restaurants, and a 24 hour mini market with an large assortments of wines, drinks, and snacks. A terrific golf course surrounds the property and plenty of shubbery to view as you walk around. Roughly 1/4 of a mile is a Publix Supermarket and almost 1 mile past that is International Drive with great restuarants such as Tommy Bahamas or Texas de Brazil. The room was spacious enough and was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only gripe was the parking. They will charge you $8.00 for self parking and it is a long, uphill walk to the lobby if you choose to do so. If you get a special rate, I would advise to use the valet service ($18.00) as I felt it would be worth the price. Their service appears to be quick in retreiving your SUV. Don't hesitate to book your vacation with this resort - I promise you won't be disappointed."
