Recent Regal Sun Review: "For many years we have been visiting Disney World and during those trips we have stayed at many of the hotels within the parks. Seven years ago, we stayed at this hotel when it was called the Grosvenor, and continued staying there since that time. We always enjoyed the hotel amenities and its proximity to downtown Disney, mainly to Pleasure Island which is our favorite evening spot. I found out three months ago that the hotel had been renovated and had changed its previous name to Regal Sun. I checked out the pictures of the renovated hotel in the Internet and liked what I saw. However, when we arrived at the hotel and saw all the changes, we agreed that the Internet descriptions and area pictures do not tell the entire story. In other words, one has to be there to realize that the many changes have turned this hotel into one of the best spots in the Disney area. I very strongly recommend it to everyone whether you are single, married and/or married with children. It is definitely the place to be after a whole day of park hopping and/or night partying."

| We rented two rooms for one night. We had access to one bedroom thirty minutes after the check in time. The room was not that bad... but not as clean and neat as I thought. Beds and bathroom were clean but the carpet looked old and dirty.
Then, when we could finally enter into our second room (2 hours after check in time) we had a terrible feeling...we knew something was not right but was not until next morning that an ugly vomit smell grew stronger. We had to move our things to the other room. Good thing we

| Friendly staff, well maintained resort hotel. Pools were a hit with the kids. I guess with any resort class hotel, the prices for everything are a bit high for family travel during this recession time,had to move the car and go off site to feed the crew. Kinda felt nickled and dimed to death... but overall, we had a grand time. |

| My husband and 5 yr old daughter got back in town from a weekend at the beach to find that my mother-in-law had A LOT of family in town at the house. We decided, spur of the moment, to just go away for another night. We live close to Disney, and thought why just not stay near Downtown Disney. We found this hotel, and decided to book.
It has 2 pools that are both great for kids - a lot of shallow-end room for the younger kids. Also, one of the pools has a small splash area which my 5 yr old loved. We were only there for 1 night, so we really didn't get to check out a lot of the amenities, but from what we could tell, it would have been great to stay a few days.
The only complaint is that the beds seem a little on the smaller side. But besides that...I'd go again! |

| Are room was really small and the bathroom smelled like urine. One day when we returned back to our room at 3 o'clock are room was still not cleaned. And on our last day of check out housekeeping knock on our door at 8 in morning and keep checking every hour to see if we left yet. (Check out was 11). The food was over price and wasn't all that great. Will never stay at this Hotel ever, ever, ever again. |

| The trip to Orlando was a last minute idea and the decision to stay at Regal Sun Resort was better than I could have planned. The location was perfect and had a very friendly staff. We actually decided to stay an extra night. The pool area was enjoyed by the entire family. I plan on booking again. Thank you. |

| The hotel and surrounding area was wonderful everything you would expect associated with Disney. My only complaint would be dont go to the timeshare meeting. It is definitely not "no pressure" they drill you for hours until you give in. I however was strong enough to withstand it and finally left after being there for 5 hours with a migraine. |

| This hotel was a disappointment at best. Not only were we charged an unexpected resort fee, but the quality of the room was very poor. The main tower of the hotel is probably better quality, but it appears that the hotel took advantage of not booking directly with them and put us in a hotel wing that faced the dumpsters. The dumpsters were right beside the employee outside break area and at 730am, one of the hotel employees were very loud on their cell phone. The check out time was 11am and at 830am, the maid service was already knocking at the door. We do not recommend this hotel. Any other hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area would be a better selection. |

| The staff were very helpful and friendly. The floor manager gave me good advice on transportation which saved me some money. Over the hotel was good nothing bad to say about it. |

| Hotel was nice, clean and very close to Downtown Disney. The pool was fun for children of al ages. The Shuttle to the various attractions makes it easy to get around without having to drive and pay the exorbitant parking fees at the parks. One big issue, the restaurant. TERRIBLE!...We ordered Mac-n-Ceese for my 2 y/o, (his main nutrition source), he is usually not picky when it comes to Mac-N-Cheese, but even HE couldn't eat it. Super dry ( not creamy at all) and it looked like the milk may have curdled. I had to cut it (yes, cut it) to coax my son to try one bite. Other food items ordered were also terrible (pizza, pasta with shrimp, fish, breakfast buffet). Oh, Goofy and Pluto are the ONLY characters available for the character breakfast. The poor Restaurant quality should be a minor factor when choosing this hotel since there are plenty of other restaurants available in Downtown Disney or surrounding areas. Good overall stay, just don't plan on eating there |
