Recent Radisson International Drive Review: "My daughter and I was in Orlando to visit a culinary school in the area. We were very pleased with our room. All the staff we came across was very friendly. The bathroom was huge and the bed (sleep number) was very comfortable and worked great for us. We had a king sized bed and each side had it's own control. No dust in the corners and towels and linens smelled fresh. All the buttons in the elevators worked. There isn't many channels on the tv, but we weren't there to watch it anyway. The pool area was beautiful. We didn't eat any of the onsite restaurants but looked to be very good. We will stay here again next time we come to the Orlando area. I guess the former hotel was not very nice and I was hesitant on staying there from previous reviews but Radisson has made some serious improvements."

During our stay at The Radisson Hotel we found our stay very pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk attended to our every need. Although the breakfast was not complimentary, the Radisson is still a recommendation for everyone visiting Orlando, Fl. The location was great, it's very close to the many attractions Orlando has to offer such as Universal Studios, Wet n' Wild water park and Sea World.

I booked this hotel for my huband and myself for a convention at the Convention Center, we were scheduled to stay for 4 nights. The hotel is very pretty from the outside and I thought that I was getting a GReAT rate online. However, when we checked in late Monday night we noticed that the toilet didn't seem to want to flush hardly at all. So I told the staff and the next morning someone was there to fix it, but several hours later I am told that they cannot fix the problem and I am going to have to move to a different room. Okay, so I packed all of our things up and moved just one floor up, but in the same room. When I got up there I noticed that the white duvet cover had stains all over it and the cream colored lamp shades were also very stained, so I called and had them replace the duvet cover. A little while later I tried to access the internet (which was supposed to be wireless and complimentary) and there was No SERvICE. The previous room had great service, being that we were here on a business trip my husband had to have internet service, so I went back down stairs to the front desk and told her the problem, she told me the only thing they could do was to move me yet agian. I was becoming very upset at this point so she gave me two different room keys to check out, in one room the sleep number bed did not work at all, and the other was missing the TV remote. I decided to go with the missing remote. After this move atleast everything seemed to work and be clean, but this time we were on the ground floor right next to one of the doors which I could hear open and close all night. If you decide to stay here and need internet access make sure you ask for a room on the second floor, and make sure everything works and is clean Before you unpack. For another convention, I would stay here again, but with the above recommendations. The rates were very good for the location compared to the other hotels, in the same area.

this hotel has just recently become a radisson, so there have been improvements (apparently). most importantly, they're in a period of promotional pricing. so while that lasts, this is a very good deal. when you get down to it, though, this isn't a brand new hotel; it's just new management. buttons on the elevators don't work (good luck, floor 2!). special adjustable mattresses are very loud when they work at all. card keys take about four hundred swipes on doors. the free breakfast buffet is pretty good, though, and the secret we-didn't-tell-you-about-it-until-now resort fee is cheaper than most in the area ($5 a night, instead of $20 like at some places). there's no fee to park (also increasingly rare in that area). the free wireless internet is very spotty. not available from rooms at all and only with difficulty from the lobby. according to the (friendly) front desk staff, this is only a recent and temporary problem. our only other complaint was requesting a king and being given two doubles (even though our receipt still said king). overall stay was satisfactory. not many channels on the tv either, though.

Bad points: The beds were those ones with controls to make them softer or harder - supposedly to make each bed more comfortable to everyone - but I found them not that comfortable! Also even with the air conditioning turned off there seemed to be a master air conditioning in the building which kept the room quite cold which I didn't like. ( I was there in September so it was still very hot outside.) Breakfast wasn't good so go somewhere else for breakfast if possible. Fridge in room is noisy. Good points: Staff were nice and friendly, hotel is modern, clean and in a good location. Room is large and has good facilites. Free shuttle to Universal.

My husband and I loved this hotel. -Great Staff -Bed = Sleep# A+ -Location was 5 minutes from the Universal Resort -In nice upscale section of I drive -Room was nice, comfy, clean and modern. -Pool and hotel grounds A+ It felt like a 5 star hotel! We had a room on the top floor, great view! When my husband and I toured the hotel, we will greeted my a karaokes bar and outside pool bar- WOW We will be staying at this hotel for our nect trip to orlando!
