Recent La Quinta Inn Review: "The hotel was nice, very pet friendly, all pet rooms are on the first floor. Clean with large bathrooms. Has only one entrance which is annoying when you want to walk the dog, but that is only complaint. Is at good location, good cont. breakfast, overall real nice."

| We travel with dogs so we often stay at La Quinta Inns. This was the most run down one we have stayed at. It was not noticeably dirty, but most definitely run down. One of the two elevators was out of service the entire weekend (Friday to Sunday).
If traveling with dogs, there is not much area to walk them available. Mine usually resorted to using the pavement, since I scoop anyway, this did not pose to big a problem.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints other than being time for a major overhaul. |

| The room was nice and clean as was the hotel overall. The bathroom was clean but I think it could use a paint job. Some of the paint was missing or cracking. The free breakfast was basic but good enough. The exercise room was only a treadmill and a stairmaster. |

| The room was dark. It was lit by 3 low wattage lamps. One lamp would not turn on until I put the plug in a different outlet. That outlet also served the coffee maker so to make coffee, I had to unlug the lamp to plug in the coffee machine.
The brochure said there was a restaurant. I was told it was closed.
I had a smoking room but there were no ashtrays. |

| The hotel was very convenient to the Interstate, but the immediate area had little to offer in the way of restaurants -- mostly pawn shops and convenience stores. My room was very clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The room and the common areas of the hotel could use some updating; it looks well worn. The breakfast offered hot and cold foods and was plentiful. Basically, a good value for the price paid. |

| We were greeted friendly enough.... and that was the end of friendliness. We asked for 2 double beds were given a king w/ a sleeper. A man walked in on us, he was told the room was empty! The winner was the deactivation of our room keys! I understand the 2.5 rating. |

| The hotel could've been very nice with some upkeep. The rooms were very clean, but the common areas were very dirty, and the hall looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in years. The hotel staff was very short and did'nt offer much help. I had to call the front desk 5 times one night to get an answer to a question because they kept hanging up when they thought they had answered my question. The location was great and convenient, but I wasn't very satisfied with the hotel. |

| The lobby of the hotel is very neat and clean. The rooms were another story! I was traveling for work and we had 2 rooms in the hotel, so this is not an isolated incident. Both rooms had a very strange smell, a mix between OLD, smokey or mildew (we requested non-smoking). The sink in my room was stopped up and when I turned on the faucet the water poured out yellowish then there were all sorts of weird things floating around, probably what stopped it up. The drain in the shower was also extremely slow. There was no garbage can in the bathroom. The window in my room was unlocked when I arrived, after many attempts I was unable to lock it was broken?
Overall this hotel needs a complete overhaul. |

| I did not have my dog Rocky with me, but was please to see other guest with their pets. The front desk asked at check-in whether we had any pets checking in with us. I was suprised they would allow it, but i think is is cool they do. |

| I read a single review of the hotel and was concerned about what condition the hotel was in. I was pleasently surprised to find the hotel was decent for the money I paid. The hotel was much better then a cheap hotel, but not as nice as your top dollar stays. It served it's purpose of giving my fiance and I a decent night away from our kids while visiting Orlando without breaking the bank. |
