Recent Peabody Orlando Review: "The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of International Drive (I-Drive). For all those who enjoy their retail therapy, the two Premium Outlets are close by: one is at the north end of I-Drive, and the other at the South end. Both easily accessible by the "Trolley" service which is free to the hotel guests, with a stop right outside the hotel. The hotel is also very close to Universal Studios and Wet and Wild both on the Trolley Route - just familiarise yourself with the 2 "Trolley" routes - Red & Green.
If you choose to hire a car, there is ample parking on site, as the hotel has a large multi-storey car park. The is free parking for guests on the "Club" level.
The hotels facilities are very good indeed. there are several bars and restaurants all with excellent service located within the hotel. The hotels has a very large and new fully fitted gym, with separate rooms for strength training, cardio, and stretching. If the gym is not your thing, there is an excellent spa facility. There are 2 swimming pool areas on site, one is more suited for families as there are children's pools, fun pools, and main shallow water pool. The other pool is a 25-30 meter pool, with no attractions.
if you play golf, the Shingle Creek Golf Course is very close by, but I was seduced by the Palmer course at Reunioun!
If food is your thing and you do not wish to pay hotel prices, you can take a short stroll to Pointe Orlando Complex, which faces the hotel car park, which has a host of bars, shops, and restaurants as well as a multi-screen cinema. I-Drive also has a multitude of bars and restaurants to cater for different tastes and budgets. Furthermore there are two Walgreens Pharmacies / convenience stores near the hotel. Both are approximately 5 minutes walk from the hotel; one northbound, just past Pointe Orlando, and the other Southbound past the Orange County Convention Centre.
The rooms are of an excellent standard, with 42 inch flat panel TVs, a fridge which you can store y"
