Recent Orlando Vista Lake Review: "I booked this room about a week in advance, opting to change from our normal more expensive hotel, after reading some of the reviews of past guest. I have to say it was a pleasure! The hotel looked to be newly renovated down stairs. I walked up to the front desk at was greeted with a big smile and a very courteous employee. She confirmed that I had booked a room with a balcony, I said "yes" she said "excellent". She handed me the keys asked me how many children I answered and she gave me a gift bag with some useful information and snacks for each of us. There was no time share agent or condo agent bugging you to sit down and listen to a presentation. Although they did have an office in the lobby selling some luxury contemporary condos but not once during our stay was I approached by a sales agent! EXCELLENT! We chose the double queen beds very spacious. The room was very clean, bathroom was clean, housekeeping was excellent and quick. Oh, the room safe was excellent! I wasn't expecting one but when I opened the closet to my surprise there it was ready for our valuables. And it was pretty good size also, I was able to fit our portable car DVD players (2), some important documents from my breif case, jewelery, my compact laptop(12" screen) and some other small things. I was quite pleased. The balcony was a nice 6th floor view overlooking the pool and some of Orlando. Shuttle service to Disney was nice, there was a souvenir shop next door as well as an IHOP. Tons of restaurants in the area, downtown Disney seemed like less than a mile away. We enjoyed the pool, kiddie pool and the jacuzzi until late almost every night. It seemed that security was lenient on the closing time of the pool if everyone was quite. One night we were out there till past 11pm my kids were well behaved and not screaming and shouting. Another night the pool was shut down exactly at 10pm (closing time) there were some LOUD kids out there and their parents were more into their conversations at thei"

| The only thing I didn't like too much was the smell in the hallway to the room, it was like mildewy or "old" for lack of a better description. Other than that, it was pretty good for the price paid. |

| It was an older hotel but clean and maintained pretty well. Our only real complaint was that the air conditioner was noisy and you couldn't turn it down, so it ran full blast all the time. |

| Yes , our stay was very pleasant at this hotel which is very nice located near
Downtown Disney and many restautants
within two miles.
Besides, the hotel a moderate place to have breakfast & snacks and our room
beds impecable clean upon arrival, and second night I tip nicely the person doing the rooms.
I would stay again- clean rooms, but the
rugs all around need shampoo cleaning our
replacement. |

| Bedding is great, hotel is in a great location near downtown disney. only 7 exits from islands & universal, 4 from sea world, aquatica & discovery cove. all the dining is near it was an overall great located hotel. It does need to be updated but the price fits. |

| The hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was located near many restaurants, shops, and other fun things to do. It was within 10 minutes of Disney World and offered a free shuttle bus to and from the park.
The only negatives were that the room did not have an in room microwave or refrigerator. The shuttle bus was free, but very run down.
Other than that, our stay was very good and well worth the money. Should we return to Orlando again, we will definitely stay here, and would recommend this hotel to anyone. |

| Rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and furnished nicely. Bellman was waiting at the door when we arrived, check-in was quick and staff efficient. Location of hotel is within walking distance of popular nicer restaurants and McDonalds and Taco Bell. IHOP located next door and entrance to Disney World property within a block or two. Disney fireworks can be seen from hotel. Great choice! |
