Recent Metropolitan Express Review: "I really enjoyed this hotel the most out of all the ones I stayed in on my vacation. I thought for the price, the room was spacious, clean and quite comforting. The bathroom had spacious counterspace and the shower head was of good quality.
For the price, I'd recommend this to anyone going down to Orlando. And not to mention the location, its literally less than a mile from all the main Universal Attractions in the area, within walking distance to a variety of tourist spots."

| Metropolitan Express was very convenient to Universal Studios, and for the price, was extremely inexpensive. However, as your parents surely told you, you only get what you pay for. There are no elevators, so ask for 1st floor if you need assistance carrying bags up floors. The AC was barely adequate given the mid-90 temps. The only true problem was the bus loads of unsupervised teenagers running and yelling in the halls at night. Complaints to the management went unheeded. On a positive note, the free continental breakfast was a big plus.
If you plan on a trip to Universal Studios and want to do it on the cheap, this isn't a bad choice. Just hold your high expectations for the park. |

| This hotel is in great need of a makeover. The rugs in the halls need to be deep deep deep cleaned or replaced. It was very dirty and full of stains. The sheets and comforters were full of stains and burn marks. They need to be replaced as well. If the sheets are full of stains it makes you wonder what else is crawling around in that room. The one good thing is the proximity to the parks. Very easy access either by walking or by shuttle. |

| The Metropolitan Express was a pretty good stay, close to everything on international Dr. and the Theme parks, Traffic wasn't bad, the Staff were friendly as the check-in clerk, pool area was clean room was also clean..
I would stay there again ! |

| I wanted a cheap hotel that was decent and clean and this fit teh bill. I needed it for only 1 night until I could check into my Disney resort so thsi was all i wanted. If the service had been quicker at the front desk to check in, i woudl have rated teh visit a little higher. Overall, I am concerned with cleanliness of my room and that it "feels" clean when I lay on teh bed and sheets and this need was met. Hotel is older but OK. Pretty decent area to go walking as we did to eat . |

| Extremely close to the Universal Studios complex which includes Islands of Adventure and the City Walk for dining & nightlife. It was within walking distance of several other restaurants along International Drive. The continental breakfast was as expected. Bagels, toast, & cereal. The attendant in the breakfast area was very efficient in re-stocking anything that ran out. The pool was located in the middle of the complex. Overall, it was a nice stay. Not a place for someone looking for a 5 star hotel, but if you are on a budget and looking for somewhere decent and clean, the Metropolitan Express is the way to go! There is even a shuttle from the hotel to the different parks. |

| We stayed for 8 Days, the staff were friendly, when our air conditioning broke down, they swapped us to next door room, with no fuss. The British bar is a great place to have a beer and relax, it's also close to Seaworld and Disney...
All in all, great place to stay. |

| If you are going to Citywalk. This hotel is close to it. I took a taxi instead of paying the parking fees. Staff was really nice but not good on giving directions. |

| Was glad to check in early, but first room they had didn't have a functioning safe, so we were moved to another room with a working safe, but not as nice. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location to Wet n' Wild is great and its close enough to walk to Universal which is another plus and isn't as dumpy as some of the surrounding hotels. Breakfast was free but just toast, cereal and GROSS pastry. |

| This was the second time we stayed there, and it was a great deal. It seems much safer than other hotels in the International Drive area, due to the interior corrodors and key being required for entry to the hotel.
Free breakfast was better than most free ones! Very close to Universal and Wet and Wild. |
