Recent La Quinta International Drive Review: "Overall an excellent choice for our needs. My son and I were looking for a hotel walking distance to the YMCA for the Junior National Swim Meet. This hotel is in perfect walking distance from the swim meet. It is not over the top elegant but nice enough for us. It has a charming exterior with a nice lobby, friendly helpful staff, large TV screen, computer  and printer set up in lobby. Breakfast comes with your stay and internet service. The cleaning staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms have comfortable beds and nice linens. There is a coffee maker and hair dryer in the room, a desk and two chairs. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo not super large but very clean. The AC works very well. The hotel is close to the highway on the back side which did not bother us. The lovely pool, hot tub and pool side bar more than make up for this. We love the pool area here!!! It is charming with a good size, unique shape pool, nice hot tub, beautiful palm trees and quaint pool side bar, a bit of garden and all the rooms surround the pool area so it seems almost like an atrium with brick paver decking too. Water to drink is the one thing I wish was more available here. There is a shop very close by where you can purchase snacks, drug store items, drinks and water bottles. If not you will have to buy drinks in their vending machine with coins or at the pool side bar when it opens. Coffee is available in the lobby. I did fill up the ice bucket one time half way with ice, then added water from the room and took this down to the pool. Another La Quinta Inn is close by if you wish to use their workout room. There are plenty of nice places to walk to for all types of delicious dining. The evenings at the pool are very nice too. :)"
