Recent Hyatt Place Convention Review: "While this hotel was a bit off the path of the Orlando airport and the other business we had in town, this was an excellent stay. However, it's in the midst of the huge convention center, other hotels and I-4 area, which has many familiar restaurants of all sorts. Our plane was delayed 6 hours from Texas and that put us in at 5:30 AM, so we checked  in when most were rising for the free Hyatt breakfast! The staff member was extremely helpful, allowed us a later check out for us to get some sleep and even gave us a couple of cereal boxes, milk and spoons for our room (complete w/ 'fridge) so we could still enjoy some breakfast when we woke up so late. The rooms -pillows and mattress are great - are always spacious, well appointed with granite tops, large sofa and flat-screen TV. We got a good rate, but missed getting the points from the Hyatt Passport membership due to not booking direct. Still, this was a perfect stay considering our needs in Orlando."
