From the time I checked in, things were great. The gal at the desk was friendly and helpful--even gave me directions to a local restaurant. The room was perfect and the bed was way comfy. And the hot breakfast was tasty and saved me $10 I would have spent at a restaurant that morning. Would highly recommend Hawthorn. Great stay at a great value.

We've stayed there at least six other times over the past two years. We have watched the cleanliness of the rooms go steadily downhill. I had three rooms before we got one that was clean and the A/C worked. They need to put some effort into better training housekeeping personel and invest some $$$'s in new carpeting,
