Recent Florida Conference Florida Mall Review: "I was very happy with my stay at the hotel. We just had a horrible experience at a different nearby hotel and were very happy about the change in quality. The hotel was super clean and extremely quiet. The bed was amazing and so comfortable that we barely felt like leaving the room. It was great just having to go downstairs to shop. Very convenient. There's  2 things that I didn't like about this hotel though. 1. Bizarre fees - The hotel claims to charge an extra $11 per night which actually ends up being about $13 once they add taxes into it. This is in addition to the price that you'll pay for a room online. It apparently includes a newspaper which we never received. The hotel also puts about 10 different holds on my credit card for various amounts which they claim were for 'incidentals'. I was charged the correct amounts in the end but the whole extra fees and bogus credit holds left me with a feeling that I was about to be ripped off. 2. The room was perfect except for the abundance of light. The parking lot is well lit and the light comes into the room a lot from all the edges of the curtain. The hallways also has lights in front of every hotel room door which also contributed to the light in the room by shining through the gap between the door and the floor. The AC control had a super bright LED screen about 1"x1" which I ended up having to cover with some paper to block out some of the light. I put a towel at the foot of the front door to block out that light but the lights from the parking lot were unavoidably shining into the room. I imagine with some minor changes to the curtain or some additional blocking materials they could really reduce all the light coming into the rooms. Other than that, our stay was great. For the price, it'll be the best hotel in the area. There's plenty of options in the area but most are pretty cheap ghetto hotels. The first hotel we stayed at was next to this one and ended up having a cockroach trying to take a shower with me"

    A short guide to Orlando International Airport
