Recent Fairfield Lake Buena Vista Review: "I did a lot of research before choosing this hotel. There were a couple of reviews talking about service being the lowest point. So I took a risk, even though the rating was averaging around 4.8 out of 5 which is still good. Listen, in any hotel there will be turnover in staff, and some staff frankly will just suck. First of all, the room was cleaned every day, the grounds were impeccable, the pools were clean, and you get to use any of three pools on this site of three Marriott hotels made like a village with gated entry for security. This is something we did not know and were pleasantly surprised to find out. The pool bar is nice and the bartender is excellent. One of the pools is an indoor/outdoor pool and all have a jacuzzi. The mattresses in this hotel are top notch and VERY comfortable. I would stay there just for the mattress. And the location is good too, between many of the sites in Orlando. The free breakfast has everything but eggs and bacon, but who noticed with all the other foods, including a make it yourself Belgian waffle machine with cups of prepared batter. Awesome. The last day they really exceeded our expectations when we found out we did not have to use the pay by the hour internet service to get our boarding passes. They will pull them up and print them for you as a courtesy. This hotel, the fairfield, (all three of them, including the spring hill and courtyard, Marriott's that share a circle and fountain for close entrances) is a wonderful place to stay. Don't listen to negative reviews for this place. Oh, and there is a Starbucks, Pizza Hut, and Edy's ice cream on site, as well as a deli. If you want more than this, you are asking too much."
