Recent ESA Universal Studios Review: "This hotel is in great condtion, the room was clean and the staff was nice. Be warned if you get there after 11:00pm you do have to ring a doorbell to be allowed access. Which did make me feel safer after getting past the nuisance of it. If you are looking for a place to stay one night and plan on not staying in your room at all then this place is for you. It is directly across the street from Universal Studios, we would not have walked but we drove ourselves and also took a $6.00 cab ride. If you want to be near I-Drive do not stay hear unless you do not mind driving. For us we like to be able to have alot of stuff within walking distance. Don't get me wrong there were several restaurants that stayed open until 2am right by the hotel but that was it. The hotel itself has no pool and they do not offer food of any kind. The best you will be able to get is the vending machines on the first floor. Also, there are no views of Universal so dont pay extra for that. All in all we were there for 4 days, if we had to go again we would stay somewhere else beacuse of the lack of amenities, but if we were gong for one night and were only doing Universal and nothing else than we would stay here again."
