Recent Doubletree International Drive Review: "I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and price of this hotel! It was in a great location - just off of International Drive, right next to Sea World and only about 10 minutes from Universal Studios. Not to mention all of the nearby restaurants and easy access to and from 528. It appears as though the hotel has been recently upgraded, giving the  rooms a more modern feel, which I loved. The bedding was so comfortable, especially after a long day at the park. I also appreciated the fact that the sink area was separated from the toilet, that way if someone was in the bathroom/shower, someone else could still use the sink and mirror to get ready. The room and bathroom was immaculate and even smelled clean (not musty like some hotels). Our room overlooked the pool, but even so, we heard absolutely no outside noise at night. I definitely loved the pool (there are 2 or 3 throughout the property, which is nice because there wasn't one pool that was overcrowded) as well as the poolbar! The staff was amazing and more than willing to answer any question or help with anything. My only (teeny tiny) complaint is the charge for parking. However, the overall value of this hotel is definitely worth it. The parking lot is also gated too (you have to use your room key card to get in) which made me feel more safe, even though the area is very nice. There were also always many security officers patrolling the lot at all hours of the day and night as an added bonus too. I felt very secure at this hotel and would most definitely stay here again!"
