Recent Doubletree Entrance To Universal Review: "I was planning a 5 day getaway with my husband for his 30th bday. I looked at hundreds of hotels and had a hard time deciding. I am so happy that I chose this hotel. It was the CLOSEST hotel to Universal. If you can't walk from this hotel to Universal then you don't need to be going to Universal in the first place. I heard some guests say they got a cab--I am sorry but that is riduculous. It is like getting a cab to take you across the street. The hotel has been renovated lately with flat screen tvs, super comfy beds,granite countertops, and nice bathrooms. It all looked brand new. We were greeted with warm choc. chip cookies, which really started the trip of with us feeling pampered. The girls at check in were super helpful and nice. Breakfast was great at the hotel and if you are a Hilton Honors member it is free. There is a starbucks right inside the hotel if you want something quick. I just can't say enough about it! We would stay hear again and recommend it to all our friends. You can walk to anything that you want or need."
