Recent Crowne Plaza Downtown Review: "This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, nicely decorated in up-to-date colors. It has a nice Zen like feel to it. The plasma television was great. I did not expect to have a couch, sink, microwave, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, computer access, weight room, granite countertops in the bathroom, constant hot water, and more for the inexpensive price that I paid. The lobby was also very nice with wonderful decorations. The parking lot was surrounded by a chain link fence and had a security guard who walked the premises at night so I felt comfortable. The hotel is close to the Interstate (motorway) but I use a sound machine at night and I did not hear anything from outside. I did hear the occasional door slam from another room but was never once disturbed by anyone in other rooms. I never used the bar or restaurant services so I can't comment on that. Also the area is not the safest or at least did not appear to be but a quick hop on the Interstate and you are within minutes from all restaurants and entertainment. We stayed on the 5th floor. I highly recommend it."
