Recent Coco Key Water Review: "After reading the reviews, I was a little worried; but all for no reason! The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful! They put us in a room close to the front desk, but then realized we could stay close to the water park. Room was changed without any issues...plus got to check in at 11am which worked out great for us. Unlike some of the reviews  stated , the water park area was very clean. A couple issues we had was finding life jackets that fit our kids. Another huge issue was that the water in the area for the smaller kids was FREEZING!!! It was uncover and out of the sun; but just way too cold for the kids. The other covered area was warmer, so I don't understand why it was so cold. The room was nice; but like other reviews stated there is no microwave and no frig which is surprising knowing that the hotel was just renovated one year ago. Everyone raved about the breakfast buffet at the hotel...IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! Don't waste your money, even if the kids are free! Go to Perkins which is really close! Over all, we had a great stay. The water park was wonderful! It was a great change from other Orlando vacations I have taken. I loved the fact we did not have to go anywhere for the kids to have fun. The lifeguards were wonderful and I really felt that our kids were safe! I even felt comfortable sitting around the pool watching the kids in the pool instead of having to be in the pool with them. We will definitely be going back! Kids are already inviting others to go with us! :O)"

    Seasonal Water Park Hours begin December 1 through February 16 2012. Water Park Hours will be extended Thursday through Saturday; new hours are 11 AM - 7 PM and Sundays 11 AM - 5 PM. The Water Resort will be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
    On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays the Tradewinds Restaurant will be open for guests, but the Callaloo Grill and Pizza Hut Express will be closed.

    One night's room rate plus tax will be charged to guest if not cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival.

    A short guide to Universal Orlando - International Drive North

    International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk.
